I would consider it an acceptable proof of a divine prescence if every purvayor of mail order spammer and marginal charity would drop dead at the same time. Horribly, horribly, dead.
Also, why are the SO MANY organizations dedicated to the welfare of pets? How many "Save The Felines" organizations can our society support?
It's not JUST about what I had for breakfast...

That would be something! I might change my beliefs if that happened.
As for the many organizations for pet welfare, I'm just thinking off the top of my head that it's because they know that there are so many people out there that have a weakness/empathy for animals. I mean people have more of a reaction to when an animal being tortured than a person. They feel that animals/pets do not have a say in how or how they are not taken care of...etc. I'm sure people can have debates on this topic forever.
